Description:

Houses in the site of Southwest Virginia's first public high school for African-Americans, the Harrison Museum displays photos, artifacts, and other memorabilia to chronicle the achievements of the local black community. It also produces the Henry Street Heritage Festival each September, a regional celebration of arts and culture. The Museum lies in the downtown area, just south of Washington Park.
